Your Guide to the Lions Tour – When are the Games? How can I watch them? and who’s in the squad?

With the Lions tour getting underway this Saturday I thought It would be appropriate to create a small guide. The British and Irish Lions will be facing a hefty touring schedule with 10 games in total and three official tests against New Zealand. This guide will cover when the games are, in GMT-0, who they are playing, and what channel you can watch them on.

All games take place at 08:35 (GMT-0).

Where to watch the games:

United Kingdom: Sky Sports will be broadcasting all 10 games, currently all games bar the last two have been confirmed as being on Sky Sports 1.

There will also be Welsh coverage of the three test matches on S4C.

Ireland: Coverage will al be on Sky

New Zealand: You can either travel to the games or watch it on Sky TV.

The Lions Squad and Coaching Staff

The full Lions squad is available here. Sam Warburton takes the role of captain for the 2017 Lions tour. The Squad is liable to change based on injuries, which with this fixture list are likely.

The coaching staff consistents of the following:

  • Warren Gatland: Head Coach
  • Rob Howley, Andy Farrell, Steve Borthwick, Neil Jenkins, and Graham Rowntree are the coaches for the tour.
